Organic Products To Fight Hair Loss

Hair loss problem faced by many people today. This might be caused by the pollution in the air and from other factors like active ingredients in shampoos and the hair products (e.g. hair spray, volumizer, gel, and conditioner). In this article, we will tackle on how you can fight hair loss using organic products in your kitchen.

1. Olive Oil

One of the most recognized solution of hair fall, hair thinning and hair loss, olive oil helps to improve the condition of your scalp and makes your hair healthier with a nice glow. Just rub a few drops of olive oil onto your scalp after a shower to strengthen dry and damaged scalp and hair.

2. Fenugreek Seeds

Found mostly in Indian curries, fenugreek is a natural herb that can do wonders on your hair. The fenugreek leaves and the seeds have medicinal properties that remove scalp irritations and dryness, cure dandruff, condition hair and prevent hair loss. To apply it, soak the seeds with water and coconut oil overnight. Use the mixture the next morning and massage it onto the scalp for five to ten minutes. Wait for one hour before rinsing with cold water.

3. Henna Leaves

To promote healthy hair growth, boil the extracts of henna leaves and mix it with mustard oil in a basin. Filter the resulting oil and preserved it in a bottle. Apply this mixture by massaging it on your scalp and leave it for about 45 minutes before washing your hair with a light, herbal shampoo.

4. Coconut Milk

Another useful home remedy for hair growth is the application of coconut milk all over the scalp. Grind coconut shavings and squeeze it well to obtain a glass of coconut milk. Regularly apply this and leave it onto the hair roots for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing with herbal shampoo and cold water.

5. Gooseberry

Also called amla, take about 100 grams of dry pieces of Indian gooseberry and boil it together with lime juice, coconut oil and two liters of water until the liquid juice reduces by half. This creates a great formula for an enriching hair tonic you can use with your mild shampoo to prevent hair loss.

6. Aloe Vera

Used to relieve stress and stimulate blood flow on your scalp, aloe vera makes the scalp healthier as it cleanses the pores, heals scalp damage, renews the follicle cycle, removes dandruff, balances the PH level and reduces excess oil (sebum). You can either rub the extracts from the actual aloe vera plant acting as hair gel or apply aloe vera powder onto your scalp and let it stand for about 15 minutes before rinsing.

Hair loss is a common problem that doesn’t discriminate; it applies to anyone regardless of generation, gender and background. Many times, people have tried using different inorganic products for cure; however, a lot of these products do not result to permanent solutions and rather might have long-term side effects. Fighting hair loss naturally with home remedies is best. These organic products are conveniently found in your kitchen, they are cost effective and healthy. Remember though that nothing beats having a well balanced sleeping pattern, diet and regular exercise overall.
