It’s summer; although the rain falling outside my window would suggest otherwise. However, with the summer months being so brief, I think our time is better spent outside, by the poolside, on the patio…wherever really; rather than cooped up inside reading breathy blog posts.
So in the spirit of enjoyment- mine and yours- things are going to lighten up around here for the summer months. I’ll still be posting regularly; but expect less words, less explanations…less, stuff. But rest assured that every recipe will be one that will give you energy to sail through the summer months with vitality and vigor!
And with that I present to you my Green Lemonade Smoothie; and bid you an effervescent welcome to summer on the Vitality Guide for Women; where less is more!
Green Lemonade Smoothie
1 ½ oz frozen spinach or kale
2 ½ oz frozen mango
1 lime, peeled
½ oz fresh ginger, peeled
1/3 cup kefir
¾ cup cold water
1 tsp raw honey
Combine all ingredients in a blender; and blend until smooth and creamy.
